There is a beauty in the world suddenly seeming so delightfully small thanks to blogs, social networks and all things internet. I’m very thankful for the kind of people I have had the opportunity to form relationships with and the incredible things I have been able to learn through writing Thrill of the Chaise.
One of these gems has been a wonderful woman named Jo who I found by serendipitous accident and who encouraged me to tell my story about living with a chronic disease, something I don’t speak much about, on her blog, Dexterous Diva. So I am very proud, and just a bit nervous, to share my story here.

You have Crohn’s?! Ouchie, girl…my bro-in-law has it, so I’ve seen how uncomfortable and painful it can be. You are a strong warrior fashionista, and I pray that you have more “good” days than “WTF” days.
Great piece, buddy. So glad you could open up about this.
That was an excellent post you wrote. Thank you for sharing, I pray also that you have beautiful days.
