Honor is the new kid on the block at New York Fashion Week. Designed by a former pre-med student, Giovanna, this label is starting to really make its mark and deservedly so. The silhouettes are feminine. The fabrications are luxurious. The details are beyond cool. And I’m more than a little obsessed with the brand’s ethos. ’Clothing should make you feel free, free to be anything – you should wear clothes that make you feel like you, and it’s totally fine to be one thing one moment and then someone else the next.’ You’re welcome. Now you can stop paying your therapist.
But seriously, this show wasn’t revolutionary but it was perfect. It said exactly what it needed to say…which is that Honor does understated classic cool really damn well. This is the kind of collection that you want to see in your closet. It’s realistic luxury that could last a lifetime. No need for shock and awe or tricks to garner attention. The Honor girl looks fabulous. End of.
