She is fascinating, inspirational and everything I want to be in life…especially when I’m 90 years old. This amazing extended trailer for the film ‘Iris Apfel: A Work-in-Progress’ not only got me properly excited about New York Fashion Week and all the birds of paradise we will be seeing there but also made me smile just thinking about how fun life can be if we just let ourselves enjoy it.
From her background in textiles and interior design to her incredible relationship with her husband of over 60 years, Iris really is just one of those people you wish you knew. ’I figured he was cool and he was cuddly and cooked Chinese, so I couldn’t do any better’. I mean, come on…adorable.
