Burberry is really knocking it out of the park as of late. They know it. We know it. The models in their Resort 2013 collection images blatantly know it. There is a part of me that really wants to tell Burberry to get over itself and stop being so pretentious but the thing is that they aren’t really. They are doing great things and they deserve everything they are getting. This is rooted far deeper than just the fashions…Burberry as a business entity is one of the greatest assets of the fashion industry at the moment. But they are able to match their international business savvy with knockout collections and I want all of it.
Resort for Burberry is striking me as a bit more ‘business casual’ than I would like to see from the label but they delivered something delightful and chances are they are going to knock my socks off with their next Spring/Summer collection. In the meantime, however, I would like the gold trenchcoat featured in this collection to find its way to my doorstep. Thanks ever so much.
