Last week, I put up a post about my childhood home (and my parents!) being featured in a new book about old homes across America. While I was wandering around the house snapping pictures of all the little details that make my house a home, I began to notice the amazing textures and patterns that presented themselves in every corner. It may be what I learned in my Color Theory course last semester, training myself to look more closely at the obvious, but I was really fascinated.
So I wanted to share all the close-up images I took in hopes that maybe you can find a bit of inspiration as well. And on a not so side note, how amazing a decorator is my momma?!

Sigh. Adore these prints. Very inspirational.
